About Boyd Andrew Community Services
Designed to support adults facing alcohol or drug problems, the program begins with a thorough assessment and a plan built around each individual’s needs. Care includes Level I outpatient and Level II intensive outpatient (IOP) services, with referrals to detox or inpatient when medically needed. Their seven-bed men’s transitional living home offers added structure in a residential Helena neighborhood, with a separate admissions process.
Community Self-help Participation and Family Involvement
Their team emphasizes individualized, mutually agreed treatment plans. Their services blend individual and group work, community self-help participation, and family involvement. Therapies include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), moral reconation therapy (MRT), seeking safety, anger management, co-dependency, and Batterers’ Intervention, with co-ed or gender-specific options and some evening times. Their co-occurring support pairs mental health counseling with addiction care.
ACT Prime for Life Education Offered
The program delivers ACT Prime for Life education for DUI, MDD, and UDD cases, with transparent fees and a defined schedule. Their program also bills most major insurance plans and Medicaid. Their intake is available for walk-ins on weekday mornings, or by phone outside of those hours.
