About A.V.Y Counseling Services
A.V.Y Counseling Services, located on the 2nd floor of "Foundation House," offers outpatient care for individuals struggling with substance use disorder and mental health challenges, while also supporting individuals who experienced domestic violence through court-ordered programs. With services for adolescents, adults, and veterans, the center provides flexible support through in-person and telehealth sessions.
Foundation for Positive Change
Their approach uses evidence-based therapies and individualized treatment plans to address the root causes of addiction and other challenges. Through these therapies, clients gain a deeper understanding of their behaviors and learn to develop healthy coping mechanisms, leading to improved relationships and overall well-being.
Targeted Classes for Recovery
A.V.Y Counseling Services offers group sessions and classes, including the "Prime for Life" and "Prime for Life 420" classes, which focus on the risks associated with alcohol, drug, and marijuana use. They also provide levels 1 and 2 of "Thinking Errors & Anger Management" classes and addiction recovery groups that build on the principles of the "Prime for Life" program.
