Avivo
About Avivo
Keeping recovery connected to family and daily life, Avivo supports adults 18 and older with substance use and mental health needs through an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Their treatment runs five days a week for 15 to 25 hours and includes individual and group counseling and peer recovery support. Family IOP serves pregnant and parenting women and fathers, with recovery housing when appropriate and available.
Integrate Therapy with Wellness
Avivo delivers culturally responsive, and trauma informed care that combines counseling with wellness activities. Treatment incorporates dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, seeking safety, mindfulness, movement, nutrition, and smoking cessation support. Its mental health clinic adds individual, couples, family, and group therapy, psychiatric care, medication management, and crisis support, along with eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic experiencing, therapeutic art, and trauma-sensitive therapeutic yoga.
Build Stability Beyond Counseling
The center extends treatment beyond counseling by connecting recovery with housing, employment, and parenting support. This becomes especially distinctive in recovery housing, where dependent children up to age 17 can live with a mother or father during treatment. Their family programming includes child development, parenting education, codependency, and relationship education, while career training, employment support, and permanent housing assistance help address day-to-day needs alongside recovery.
