About August Rose Health Center
This private outpatient clinic provides mental health support for children, teens, and adults across Maryland. The team helps individuals living with anxiety, depression, mood challenges, or trauma find healing through accessible and flexible care. Services include outpatient counseling, medication management, and rehabilitation programs that focus on building real-life skills for long-term recovery. Each plan is designed with the individual in mind, offering both emotional support and practical tools for daily living in a safe, welcoming setting.
Therapies and Skill-Building
Counselors use approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients manage emotions and develop healthier patterns of thought and behavior. Sessions center on communication, coping strategies, and decision-making, while rehabilitation services focus on strengthening social skills and building confidence outside of therapy. Care is tailored so each person can move forward at their own pace and create lasting change.
Flexible Services
Appointments are available both in person and through telehealth. Rehabilitation programs extend into homes, schools, and communities, supporting children with social development, teens with independence, and adults with job readiness, housing, and daily routines. Crisis support is also available, connecting individuals with mobile teams and resources when immediate help is needed.
