About Amoskeag Health - Hollis Street
Since 1993, this nonprofit organization has provided medical and mental health services in Manchester, New Hampshire. Dedicated teams combine physical and emotional care under one roof. They offer financial aid and language translation, partnering with families to keep the community healthy.
Integrated Wellness for Every Stage of Life
Medical staff tailor care to every age group. Children and teens (0–20) receive wellness visits and dedicated screenings for depression, anxiety, and substance use. Adults receive behavioral support and psychiatric medication management during regular primary care visits. For seniors over 65, experts provide chronic care management and home visits. Recovery programs also provide medication-assisted treatment coordinated by onsite nurses and doctors.
Support Beyond the Clinic Walls
Care extends directly into the community. K-12 students receive weekly counseling and mentorship from community health workers inside local schools. Programs like Adverse Childhood Experiences Response Team (ACERT) connect families to trauma-informed services, while partnerships with local organizations deliver essential life-skills training to at-risk youth.

Center Overview

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
