About Notre Abri
Norte Abri is a unique 28-day program that specializes in psychotropic drug addiction treatment. Norte Abri helps clients achieve abstinence by combining the Minnesota Model along with personalized counseling and nature activities. The program is highly-individualized and includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), recreational therapy, nutrition, adventure therapy, and group therapy. The core of the program involves traveling to several places and meeting peers who show the clients that serene and happy abstinence is possible for the long run.
Norte Abri only takes 3 clients at a time, allowing for a truly individualized approach. Clients will live in several places in Switzerland and France during the 28-day program. Le Chatel Notre Abri is located in the town of Montreux, Switzerland at an altitude of 1212m. Built in 1935, the stunning chalet provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guests will have their own private room with a view of the Alps and Lake Geneva. The Villa Les Embruns is located on the French Riviera in France. This private house by the sea provides luxurious accommodations, gorgeous views, fresh sea air, and an on-site swimming pool. Clients will also have the opportunity to spend a week on the sea aboard a 14 meter sailboat, each with their own bedroom and 2 bathrooms. During this week, clients will travel through the golden islands of the French Riviera.
Norte Abri is rooted in adventure, and nature activities are an important part of the program. Depending on the season, clients will have the opportunity to engage in many activities such as rock climbing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sailing, windsurfing, diving, cooking, gardening, bee keeping, and animal therapy. Norti Abri is a one-of-a-kind program that offers a unique approach to achieving abstinence from psychotropic drugs.
