About New You Sober Living - Oakland Park
Helping adults build a stable foundation for long-term recovery, New You Sober Living provides structured sober living for men and women in South Florida. The program supports individuals recovering from alcohol and drug addiction who need a safe, substance-free environment after treatment. With on-site managers available 24/7, residents receive supervision, accountability, and peer support while working toward greater independence. The program also partners with local intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) to help residents continue their recovery journey.
Building Responsibility Through Structure
Residents live alongside others in recovery while following a structured routine designed to reinforce healthy habits and personal responsibility. Expectations include attending 12-Step meetings, participating in house meetings, maintaining employment, education, volunteer work, or service commitments, and completing household chores. Staff help residents with practical tasks such as resume building, job searches, transportation to interviews and appointments, budgeting, time management, and obtaining important documents like identification and Social Security cards.
Recovery in a Coastal Community
Located in Oakland Park near Fort Lauderdale, the homes offer a comfortable living environment close to South Florida’s beaches. Residents can enjoy outdoor recreation, weekend cookouts, and community activities while building connections with peers in recovery. Shared living spaces, transportation support, and access to local recovery resources help residents strengthen sobriety, develop life skills, and prepare for a successful transition back to independent living.
