National Capital Treatment and Recovery’s Phoenix House program offers gender-specific residential treatment for men in a structured, home-like setting. Patients complete an assessment in person or virtually before entering care. The program provides 24/7 support, medical and clinical services, withdrawal management, and therapies that help men stabilize and begin recovery. Daily exercise is also part of the routine, guided by a fitness specialist.
Build Skills Through Trauma-Informed Support
Patients participate in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, and other evidence-based interventions that support emotional regulation, accountability, and life skills. Treatment plans are individualized and incorporate medical oversight, supportive services, and structured routines that help patients remain engaged in their recovery.
Access Care in a Supportive Residential Setting
The Phoenix House is located in Arlington, Virginia, offering a calm, residential environment where men can focus on treatment without distractions. While most patients come from Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., referrals from other regions are accepted.
