Music City Detox helps adults struggling with alcohol, opioids, benzos, stimulants, and other substances take that crucial first step into recovery in a safe, medically supported setting. Clients typically begin with detox and residential care, then are guided into the next level of support so they’re not struggling once withdrawal is over.
Music City Detox approaches treatment with the belief that real change starts the moment someone reaches out for help, and that no one heals through shame or judgment. Instead of treating addiction as the problem itself, the team looks deeper, understanding that substance use is often a response to trauma, mental health struggles, and feeling disconnected from others. From day one, clients receive a trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment plan built just for them.
Clients share semi-private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and TV. Throughout the facility, there’s a ping pong room, a video game room with a PS5, and multiple community spaces where people can hang out. A gym helps clients move their bodies and burn off stress, while 24/7 access to snacks makes it easy to grab something when hunger hits. And during free time, clients are also able to smoke or vape in designated areas.
From the start, each person is paired with a case manager and therapist who get to know their story and their goals. As discharge approaches, that team works closely with trusted referral partners to line up the next right step—whether that’s residential treatment, an IOP, outpatient therapy, sober living, or a mix of supports.
