From individual and group therapy to experiential and alternative treatment approaches, clients will stay engaged during residential rehab. Some of the treatment options include eye movement movement therapy (EMDR), race affirming therapies, motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based therapy, and LQBTQ affirming therapies. Malibu Detox Treatment also provides a technology called ViviHealth. ViviHealth uses a powerful combination of cutting-edge technology and an individualized app to provide unique insights into recovery, sleep, stress levels, mood, and more.

Extensive Aftercare Programs

Malibu Detox and Residential has an extensive aftercare program that includes outpatient treatment. The aftercare program encourages independence and offers flexibility throughout. During this time, clients will have the opportunity to practice the skills learned in residential treatment in a comfortable environment. In addition, community outings take place and include beach outings, movies, volunteering in the community, and attending 12-step meetings throughout California.
