Founded in 2004 The Korean Alcohol Research Foundation (KARF Hospital) specializes in the treatment of alcohol addiction. Located near Ilsan, a Seoul suburb in the north west, KARF provides a comprehensive team of experts who collaborate together to develop a personalized treatment plan in a therapeutic setting. The team consists of social workers, licensed practical nurses, internists, psychologists, and psychiatrists who offer a variety of counseling and 12-Step facilitation. Medical detox, residential care, and gender-specific groups are all offered at KARF. In addition to alcohol treatment, KARF offers treatment for women struggling with eating disorders as well.
