About Insight Recovery Centers
Insight Recovery Center is a branch of Insight into Action Therapy that provides various treatments for patients with drug or alcohol addictions. They provide intensive outpatient programs (IOP), outpatient programs and aftercare options for varying levels of addiction severity. Patients who attend IOP will participate in family therapy, drug/alcohol screening, relapse prevention counseling, case management and group therapy. Patients who attend outpatient treatment can choose between an individual therapy program, family program or harm reduction program. The licensed clinicians at Insight use motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to help patients develop new coping skills. Insight accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem and Cigna insurance.
The staff at Insight believes that addiction has varying levels of severity and people have varying levels of willpower to change. Insight offers a harm reduction approach for patients with alcohol addiction and are either unwilling to become sober or have felt that a 12-Step approach did not work for them. This program avoids stigma and judgment, provides access to diverse therapies and resources and leaves room for individualized care. The staff does offer an abstinence-only approach for patients who are motivated to heal on their journey to sobriety.
