About Central Peninsula Behavioral Health Services
Central Peninsula Hospital operates behavioral services through the Serenity House Treatment Center which is a 12-bed residential facility in a peaceful 40-acre wooded area between Kenai and Soldotna, Alaska. It provides intensive treatment for people struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders like depression and trauma. Clients receive care through detox, residential treatment, and outpatient services.
Access Comprehensive Care
The center uses a 12-step model combined with evidence-based therapies to support recovery. These include individual and family counseling, group therapy, relapse prevention, art therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-focused treatments like Seeking Safety. Clients learn to manage underlying issues while working toward long-term change.
Support Throughout Your Recovery Journey
Serenity House offers several unique programs, such as a weekly Family Day to help loved ones learn recovery skills. After completing residential treatment, clients can continue with intensive outpatient programs, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing support. Their detox facility provides a safe space for withdrawal before entering treatment.
