About Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital
Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital provides inpatient mental health treatment for adults age 18 and older who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms and need intensive support in a secure, structured setting. Patients receive 24/7 care from a multidisciplinary team that may include psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other behavioral health professionals. Treatment plans are individualized and can include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, group therapy, and ongoing clinical monitoring.
Care Built Around Stabilization and Everyday Life
During their stay, patients follow a structured daily schedule that includes therapeutic programming, group activities, medication support, and time for rest. Capitol Park also offers specialized inpatient programming for older adults age 65 and older. Throughout treatment, the care team monitors progress and adjusts services as needed. Before discharge, patients work with staff to develop a plan for ongoing care and support, which may include referrals to additional mental health services.
