The care team recognizes that grief is a deeply personal experience and offers specialized support groups tailored for individuals who have lost a spouse, a parent, or experienced sudden and traumatic loss. They also provide dedicated groups for specific populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals and young adults, ensuring that every client receives the compassionate and relevant support they need. Support groups are led by trained peer facilitators and are open to anyone 18 years or older. The center also offers special workshops and events, such as a Día de los Muertos fair, or a virtual workshop for navigating grief during the holidays. These unique sessions provide a holistic approach to wellness, enriching the healing experience through cultural significance and mindfulness techniques. Clients can attend programs at no cost because they are a donation-based non-profit.
