About Healing Springs Ranch
Tucked away on 80 acres of serene lakefront property north of Dallas, Healing Springs Ranch provides an “Integrated Addiction Model” which identifies the underlying issues and unresolved trauma that cause substance abuse disorder and co-occurring disorders. The Integrated Addiction Model focuses on the function of the addiction as opposed to the behavior. This means that they identify the cycle of addiction as a way to avoid or medicate some pain that person is feeling, and by directly looking at this they can treat the root cause. Healing Springs’ core values are excellence, compassion, integrity, service, and innovation. The Healing Springs team incorporates 12 Step principles into each customized treatment plan. Some of the therapies they provide include relapse prevention, life skills, DBT, CBT, Steps to Recovery, vocational mentoring, and trauma/mental health education. Healing Springs additionally has a First Responders program for men and women 18+ who worked as a first responder and need help with addiction and co-occurring psychological disorders relating to trauma and PTSD.
Located in Tioga, Texas, Healing Springs Ranch incorporates a mind, body, and soul mentality into their clients’ daily routines. They offer many experiential therapies and activities including equine therapy, art therapy, ropes course training, yoga, and kayaking. Clients also can meet with the on-site chefs to design a nutritious meal plan. The Healing Springs home is situated on a lake and has comfortable living areas, an outdoor pool, and a fitness area. Healing Springs Ranch is Joint Commission accredited and a member of the NAATP.
