About Hamilton Center Indiana
This behavioral health system provides treatment and services for children, adolescents and adults with substance use or mental health disorders. Hamilton center provides both individual and group counseling for those who struggle with substance use disorders. The clinicians use evidence-based therapies like motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and relapse prevention training. If clients need help curbing cravings or need extra assistance during the detox process, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is offered here as well. If clients need a safe and supportive place to live during their treatment for substance use, transitional living is available to clients for 90 days.
For adult clients who are experiencing serious mental illness or are in need of long-term care, Hamilton offers acute intensive inpatient treatment and residential treatment. The acute intensive inpatient center has 16 beds and provides effective stabilization and treatment for mental health conditions. The residential treatment is available to those who struggle with either addiction or mental health disorders. Clients can either obtain their own apartment and receive supervision and treatment or live in group housing that is medically monitored 24/7. Specialized outpatient programs are available for children and adolescents, as well as veterans and expecting mothers.
