About Faith's Lodge
Faith's Lodge is a retreat facility for families coping with the loss of a child, providing a peaceful environment to support the healing process. Combining grief counseling sessions, therapeutic experiences, and group activities, the retreat provides clients with the support needed to navigate their loss. Located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, Faith's Lodge is the first dedicated child loss retreat of its kind in the United States.
Faith's Lodge understands that every family coping with the loss of a child navigates their grief in a unique way. Guests have the flexibility to choose their level of engagement, whether participating in group activities or connecting with others, allowing for a truly personalized experience during their stay. A variety of retreats are offered for different types of loss, including pregnancy and stillborn, infant loss, youth and teen loss, missing persons, homicide and suicide, and overdose loss. Some of the provided therapeutic approaches include individual and group therapy sessions, art therapy, recreational therapy, yoga, and remembrance activities that are used to honor the child's memory and promote healing.
Faith's Lodge is a 12,000 square foot facility situated on 72 acres of land near the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Guests are provided with a spacious suite for their entire family to stay which includes a private bathroom, patio area, kitchenette, and a fireplace. The facility can house up to 8 families at a given time to ensure that each family has their own space to heal. For those who would prefer to privately enjoy the facility, it may be rented for $1,350 per night with a flat $400 facilities fee. Nestled in the serene Northwoods, the facility provides clients with a peaceful environment for healing while also being conveniently located near beaches, golf courses, shops and restaurants, and hiking trails for recreational enjoyment.
