About Ellipsis
Ellipsis is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and families in Central Iowa who are facing challenges with a mission to empower families in overcoming obstacles and restoring hope for a brighter future. They provide programs including community-based services, crisis care, residential care, and transition support services. Building a community where children and families feel valued, hopeful, healthy, and united are the center’s primary objective.
Ellipsis, guided by their core values of compassion, tenacity, realness, and consistency, provides a wide range of services including therapy, counseling, behavioral health intervention, and care coordination. The organization embodies a "no wrong door" policy which reflects their commitment to providing support to families regardless of referral source, with the goal of healing families together whenever possible.
Ellipsis provides programs that focus on strengthening families and preventing children from being taken from their homes. They also provide behavioral health support and aftercare programs that address trauma and behavioral issues through therapy and specialized care. Additionally, they offer crisis care and residential care to support children and families in need through Foster Group Care Services/QRTP, Neurodevelopmental and Comorbid Conditions (NACC), Cluster Supervised Apartment Living (SAL), Scattered Supervised Apartment Living (SAL) and Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) programs.
