Located in the heart of San Francisco, the facility supports individuals facing depression, anxiety, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. With 24/7 access, it provides a safe setting for stabilization and connection to longer-term mental health services.
This program combines clinical support with holistic services, including counseling, medication support, and creative therapies like art, mindfulness, and yoga. San Francisco CSS also offers dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills training, peer support, and culturally inclusive care. Clients work with staff to create WRAP plans and receive discharge planning to connect with ongoing community services.
Clients at San Francisco CSS receive nutritious meals, medical screenings, and access to calming activities such as TV, reading, or quiet rest. The facility is designed to be low-stimulation and secure, promoting a peaceful environment for emotional stabilization. Trained staff are present around the clock for monitoring, guidance, and wellness support during each individual’s brief stay.
