About Children's Resource Center
The Children’s Resource Center in Wood County supports children, adolescents, and young adults facing mental health and substance use challenges. They offer outpatient, day treatment, school-based, and in-home services tailored to each individual’s needs in a safe environment.
Enhance Emotional Coping Skills
Using trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI), the center provides individual and group therapy to help clients regulate emotions, develop coping skills, and reduce risky behaviors.
