About Centre Espoir et Équilibre
Centre Espoir et Équilibre is a residential program in New Brunswick, Canada, specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders and gambling addiction. Using a client-centered approach, personalized care plans are developed to ensure each individual's unique needs are cared for. The center also prioritizes trauma-informed, gender-responsive, and culturally sensitive care for all.
Well-Rounded Care
The interdisciplinary care team works within the Réseau de Santé Vitalité network and consists of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, nurses and doctors, and community integration workers. Centre Espoir et Équilibre also offers detox services for clients ages 16 and older, and a co-occurring disorders program for those 19 and older. Regardless of each client's personalized plan, they will engage in up to 30 hours of individual and group sessions each week to optimize outcomes.
Two-Eyed Seeing Approach
The facility follows the Two-Eyed Seeing Approach, integrating traditional First Nations medicines and knowledge with modern medicine for a holistic approach to care. The campus features a sweat lodge and offers smoke purification rituals as part of the healing process.
