About Caz Recovery Garden Lofts
Caz Recovery Garden Lofts, located within The Marine Hospital in Buffalo, provides supportive housing for adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Residents are connected to outpatient treatment, mental health services, and other primary and specialty medical care, as well as reintegration services such as vocational, educational, and financial counseling.
Caz Recovery works individually with each client to determine their personal recovery goals and unique treatment needs. In addition to reintegration, clients may participate in individual and group therapy sessions and receive holistic and trauma-informed care. Services include daily life skills education, budgeting, vocational or educational development, case management services, and relapse prevention planning, as the program promotes self-help and independence.
Garden Lofts has 23 spacious and fully furnished studio apartments, conveniently located on a major bus-route and within walking distance to subway stations, shopping, restaurants, and more. Apartments are complete with key fob entry, kitchen appliances, and laundry on every floor. Their program is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports to provide reintegration services, and is overseen by the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative and the New York State Homeless Housing Assistance Program. Eligible residents will be 18 years and older, have a substance abuse disorder diagnosis, and must currently be homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.
