About Casa Colina
Casa Colina is a men’s only treatment center located just south of downtown Dallas on over 200 acres of rolling hills. The center is run by longtime friends and recovered addicts themselves Chico West and John Campbell. After Chico helped John on his path to recovery, they decided to open Casa Colina to help all men find peace with their troubles. They believe that addiction is a chronic disease with genetic, psychosocial, and environmental factors influencing its development. Casa Colina offers residential treatment. Casa Colina’s 90 day residential men’s program is designed to include an immediate introduction into individual and group counseling using the 12 Step model along with cognitive behavioral and existential treatment modalities. Once a client joins Casa Colina, he will be assigned a fellow male peer to orient him and to help integrate him into the recovery community. They offer CBT and trauma therapy, amongst others.
Casa Colina strives to provide a holistic treatment plan for every client. Through physical activities, healthy supplements, spiritual tools, and holistic therapy, clients will regain hope and begin healing. Some of the holistic therapies offered include nutrition management, exercise, equine therapy, and team building activities. The Casa Colina home has a spacious and updated interior with semi-private rooms, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, horse stables, a lake, and plenty of roaming space. Casa Colina is LegitScript certified, Joint Commission accredited, and a NAATP member.
