Canopy Cove is a Christian-based addiction treatment recovery center that is located on 55 acres in northern Florida. They specialize in treating women and young girls for eating disorders and co-occurring disorders. Canopy Cove has a residential program, Day Treatment (PHP), and intensive outpatient program (IOP). Canopy Cove has separate programs and facilities for adult women (18+) and for adolescent females (13-17). Additionally, they offer a mens (18+) program with PHP and IOP services. Canopy Cove uses The Recovery Model, which focuses on the ability to fully recover from an eating disorder, rather than a medical or addiction model that doesn’t believe full recovery is possible. Canopy Cove’s team consists of a primary therapist (Ph.D), family therapist (LMFT), psychiatrist (MD), internal medicine, physician (MD), registered dietician (RD), on-site Nursing Staff (LPN), and a certified eating disorders specialist (CEDS).

Canopy Cove’s gated campus is made up of gentle rolling hills with large oak trees, magnolias, green pastures, and horses. Clients are able to participate in equine therapy on-site at their stables, too. The homes are comfortable, spacious, and homey. Canopy Cove additionally offers a family program to involve loved ones on the recovery process, so they can heal, as well. Canopy Cove is CARF accredited and accepts most forms of private insurance.
