About Burrell Behavioral Health Milano Residential
This program provides a safe, structured home for youth ages 13 to 17 who need help with emotional or behavioral challenges. Many have experienced trauma or have had difficulties at school or home. The program focuses on helping youth grow, heal, and reconnect with their families. For children ages 8 to 12, the care team can determine if other approved programs are a better fit.
Each child receives care based on their specific needs. Services may include individual, family, and group therapy, support from nurses and case managers, medication management, and help with school. Staff focus on building trust and healthy routines that support success at home, in school, and in the community. Families are included in the process whenever possible.
Daily life combines school, therapy, and time in a home-like setting. Youth attend local public school and return to a structured environment where they build life skills and participate in therapeutic activities. Family visits, home passes, and therapy sessions are important parts of the program and help prepare each youth for a safe and healthy return home.
