Rosecrance Behavioral Health
Rosecrance Behavioral Health has spent more than 100 years serving people and families across the Midwest, guided by mission rather than profit. The organization now spans dozens of locations across Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa, reaching over 77,000 individuals and families each year. Few providers offer this same depth of experience, built over more than a hundred years.Hope Lives at RosecranceIn 1916, Dr. James and Fannie Rosecrance opened their New Milford, Illinois home to orphaned children. That home, later named the Rosecrance Memorial Home for Children, became the first center for adolescent chemical dependency treatment in northern Illinois by 1982. Mergers and partnerships across Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin have since grown that single home into a regional behavioral health network. More than a century later, the same belief in second chances still guides every program Rosecrance runs today.Care for Every Stage of RecoveryRosecrance offers a full continuum of care, from prevention and outpatient counseling to residential treatment, detoxification, and crisis support. Aspen Counseling, part of the Rosecrance Therapies network, adds transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and Spravato treatment for depression and other conditions. Each client's plan is built around their specific needs, then reviewed through periodic outcomes surveys so clinicians can fine-tune it as progress happens. That mix of breadth and precision carries clients through every stage of recovery in one system.Removing Barriers, Expanding ReachThe Rosecrance Foundation puts treatment within reach of more people, easing financial barriers through funds like the Kinley Fund. It also supports locations certified for Medicaid and other government-sponsored insurance, bringing care into more underserved communities. A recent federal grant extends that access further, funding crisis and school-based services for more than 1,300 additional clients across northern and central Illinois. Together, philanthropy and public partnership keep expanding who Rosecrance can serve, regardless of location or ability to pay.
