Meta Addiction Treatment offers outpatient mental health and addiction treatment at 3 locations in Massachusetts including North Reading, Haverhill and Marlborough. Their programs serve clients who need structured treatment while continuing to live at home, with Full-Day and Half-Day care that can adjust as clients gain independence. The Haverhill location offers a dedicated women’s program, while North Reading serves as Meta’s original treatment location.Individual and group therapy are led by clinicians with master’s-level training, and each client’s progress is monitored by case managers who ensure continuity throughout the course of treatment. Along with clinical care, clients may receive medication management, family support, peer support, nutritional counseling and employment assistance. The flexible scheduling allows clients to work treatment around their work, school and other responsibilities. For clients who need detox first, Meta connects with detox providers on the outside prior to outpatient treatment.Meta also provides aftercare planning and alumni programming to extend care beyond its Full-Day and Half-Day programs. Alumni are kept engaged through regular outreach and monthly meetings. Aftercare reinforces skills and helps them to cope with the challenges of increased independence. The combination gives clients a structured path from higher intensity outpatient treatment to continued community support through Meta’s network in Massachusetts.
