Advanced Recovery Systems
Advanced Recovery Systems is a physician-led network of addiction treatment centers dedicated to delivering evidence-based inpatient and outpatient care for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Founded by Dr. Mitchell Eisenberg and Dr. Lewis Gold—who previously established Sheridan Healthcare—the organization opened its first facility, The Recovery Village in Umatilla, Florida, and has since expanded to multiple locations nationwide.With a philosophy that views addiction and mental health disorders as chronic, relapsing diseases, Advanced Recovery Systems emphasizes that recovery is a lifelong commitment. They develop personalized treatment plans, address root causes of addiction, and provide aftercare planning to support sustained recovery.
