About Berkeley City Mental Health
Berkeley City Mental Health offers counseling and psychoeducation services to clients of all ages. They specifically work with individuals who receive Medi-Cal insurance and they can also serve clients who are homeless. For adults to be eligible for services, they must have a severe mental illness and functional impairments as a result. For children and adolescents to be eligible for services, they must be a resident of Berkeley or attend a school in Berkeley and meet the medical necessity specifications of Alameda County. The counseling services they offer include individual, family, and group counseling, medication support, psychoeducation, and full-service partnership services. They offer services in both English and Spanish.
