This involves a preparation session that psychologically prepares clients for the infusion experience. Ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) administers infusions over a period of time in conjunction with therapeutic integration and ongoing care and maintenance tailored to each individual. KAP has shown to be an effective cutting-edge method for individuals with treatment resistant depression or trauma. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist staff administer ketamine injections in accordance with gold standard safety practices and help guide clients to ensure they have the most comfortable experience possible.
Functional Medicine
Functional Medicine at Being Health serves as a tool that addresses underlying causes of mental health conditions in order to get to the root causes and optimize health and lifestyle. Clients begin with a functional medicine evaluation, consisting of 3 visits focused on conducting a deep dive of individual lifestyles and identifying what may be negatively impacting one’s mental health. Included in the 3 visits is a meeting with a functional medicine physician who may order genetic testing, a nutrition consultation, and a follow up visit with a physician that includes lab interpretation. Following the evaluation, clients have the option to enroll in a 6 month therapeutic program that also involves follow-up nutrition visits.
