About Avery's House Outpatient - Meridian
The partial hospitalization program (PHP) at Avery's House helps teens who are struggling emotionally or behaviorally but don't need overnight care, offering care in small group settings with a focus on family participation. The program gives teens a structured place to slow down, reset, and work through challenges while staying connected to home and daily life.
Build Healthier Daily Habits
Throughout the day, teens take part in guided activities and therapeutic support that help them manage stress, build communication skills, and learn healthy emotional regulation. Teens have opportunities to participate in experiential and creative activities like art therapy along with community-based activities. The structured schedule helps them rebuild routines, strengthen coping skills, and handle everyday challenges with more confidence at home, at school, and in relationships.
Stay Connected While Healing
Avery’s House’s PHP program for teens offers more support than weekly therapy while letting teens return home each day and stay part of family life. By focusing on emotional growth, consistency, and encouragement, it helps teens build healthier habits, function better day to day, and move toward greater stability with the people around them. They also offer academic support, teaching teens important skills to help them manage their schedule and complete their assignments.
