Clint Mally

Clint Mally is the Vice President of Content at Recovery.com, where he leads a creative team dedicated to making mental health and addiction recovery education accessible, relatable, and empowering. With a background that bridges education, storytelling, and strategy, Clint’s work centers on one core belief: communication is a form of care. Before joining Recovery.com, Clint began his career as an educator in Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward—a community that taught him how stories can inspire growth and connection. Those early years in the classroom shaped his approach to leadership and content creation, grounding his work in empathy, authenticity, and purpose.Clint later brought that same mindset to Sandstone Care, a national network of mental health and addiction treatment centers, where he served as Director of Marketing. There, he helped grow the organization from a regional provider into a nationally trusted resource for teens, young adults, and their families. His leadership emphasized human-centered storytelling and data-informed strategy—helping thousands of people discover the resources and support they needed. At Recovery.com, Clint continues to blend creativity and compassion to produce podcasts, videos, and editorial content that demystify complex topics and make recovery feel approachable. His work reflects a deep understanding that stories don’t just inform—they heal.Outside of work, you can find Clint in the San Diego ocean most weekends, his happy place where he resets and reconnects. When he’s not in the water, he’s likely exploring new vegan cuisine around the city or tending to his garden, patiently coaxing life from the soil. These simple joys remind him of the same principles that shape his work—presence, growth, and care.

Our Promise

How Is Recovery.com Different?

We believe everyone deserves access to accurate, unbiased information about mental health and recovery. That’s why we have a comprehensive set of treatment providers and don't charge for inclusion. Any center that meets our criteria can list for free. We do not and have never accepted fees for referring someone to a particular center. Providers who advertise with us must be verified by our Research Team and we clearly mark their status as advertisers.

Our goal is to help you choose the best path for your recovery. That begins with information you can trust.
