Andrew J. Schreier is a multi-credentialed helping professional, with extensive experience spanning clinical supervision, counseling, and education. As an Independent Clinical Supervisor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, Board Approved Clinical Consultant, and International Certified Gambling Counselor – II, Andrew has dedicated his career to guiding individuals and organizations toward meaningful change.With a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Services from Ottawa University, Andrew is passionate about fostering growth through knowledge and action. He currently serves as the Director of Clinical Services for Community Medical Services across Wisconsin and Minnesota, overseeing all clinical and behavioral health operations for medication-assisted treatment programs supporting individuals with opioid use disorder.In addition, Andrew practices at New Life Resources, Inc., providing therapy for individuals, couples, children, and groups. His diverse experience includes working in group homes, halfway houses, residential treatment, outpatient programs, and medication-assisted treatment settings.An engaging speaker and educator, Andrew regularly presents to statewide and national audiences on topics such as substance use, mental health, gambling, ethics, and clinical supervision. He is also the host of the “Talking Addiction & Recovery” podcast, where he explores the complexities of addiction, recovery, and the power of disruptive conversations.
