About Arise Recovery Center- TCU
Arise Recovery Centers On Campus offers tailored programming for college students struggling with substance use. They offer affordable, evidence-based treatment grounded in 12-Step recovery principles.
This program offers group therapy on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5-8pm and Fridays from 12-3pm in Jarvis Hall. The Dean of Students office can work with students for conflicts related to academic or athletic schedules
ARC On Campus offers an intensive outpatient (IOP) and supportive outpatient program. The IOP groups meet 3 times per week for 3 hours each session. Each group typically includes 6-10 students. The sessions will cover the 12-Steps, relapse prevention, life skills, and other evidence-based treatment methods like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Students can participate in the supportive outpatient program after the IOP. This lasts about 8 weeks and during this time, students are required to attend 1 group session per week along with meeting with their therapist 1 hour each week. The focus during this time will be on relapse prevention, life-skills, and re-integration to normal life.
