Through their Change and Grow intervention model and 2:1 therapist-to-client ratio, VillaRamadas offers customizable programs that fit the unique needs of the individual. Clients will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful treatment including positive psychology, community reinforcement, cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), meditation and mindfulness, relaxation exercises, solution-focused therapy, and more. A typical day includes 4 group sessions and 1 individual session. During group sessions, clients are given the space and time to reflect and discuss a number of common topics. Individual therapy allows the client to go deeper and find the root cause of the addiction. In addition, VillaRamadas provides a 12 to 16 week aftercare program in an online setting. Aftercare includes 2 individual sessions per week along with an online group session monthly.
VillaRamadas has 5 treatment centres all located in Leiria, Portugal. Each home is well designed with the client's comfort in mind. Clients will enjoy the serene setting along with an on-site pool, garden, and exercise area. All meals are provided by in-house chefs who can accommodate dietary needs.
