About San Francisco Counseling Center
Accessible by the Bush St. & Montgomery St. bus stop, San Francisco Counseling Center provides counseling and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. The team works with clients of all ages and sexual orientations through individual therapy, child therapy, teen counseling, couples counseling, marriage counseling, and premarital counseling. They also offer parenting coaching, play therapy, sand tray therapy, and group therapy.
Support for Life Challenges and Relationships
SF Counseling Center helps clients address anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma, abuse concerns, substance abuse, relationship issues, family conflicts, divorce, self-esteem concerns, career stress, and LGBTQ-related concerns. Therapists support couples and families with communication, empathy, relationship patterns, and life transitions while helping children and teens manage developmental changes, school concerns, and emotional challenges.
Specialized Groups and Educational Programs
The center offers group therapy focused on relationships and fatherhood. SF Counseling Center also provides premarital counseling that helps couples prepare for marriage. Their San Francisco Clinical Camp gives teenagers an educational introduction to clinical psychology concepts through seminars. They do not take insurance at this time. If your insurance is able to pay for an out-of-plan provider on a reimbursement basis, they may be able to work with them.
