About Mindsoother Therapy Center
With the goal of supporting and guiding clients toward positive change, Mindsoother Therapy Center offers in-person sessions and serves clients virtually throughout New Jersey and several other states. The team works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Concerns include anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), self-harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, and family or relationship difficulties.
Building Skills, Finding Balance
Clients can participate in individual, group, family, or couples therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family systems therapy. The team also teaches DBT skills and supports executive functioning in children and teens ages 6–17. Mindsoother Therapy Center has a 10-week Executive Functioning Family Series program that uses hands-on activities, visual tools, and parent coaching to build everyday skills.
Making Room for What Matters
For clients who need more focused time, Mindsoother Therapy Center uses 3-hour therapy intensives for individual and family work. Sessions may focus on anxiety, depression, executive functioning, family conflict, or DBT skills. The team also treats anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, other specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED), and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), with individual, family, or group therapy and referrals when needed.
