About Community Counseling & Mediation - Bond Clinic
For more than 40 years, Community Counseling & Mediation (CCM) has provided mental health services across Brooklyn and Manhattan through a network of New York State Article 31 licensed outpatient clinics. At their Bond Clinic in Downtown Brooklyn, CCM serves children ages 10 and older, with a focus on preteens, adolescents, and young adults, while also caring for adults, couples, and families. The clinic provides individual and group therapy, child and adolescent counseling, play and art therapy, couples and family therapy, conflict mediation, psychiatric evaluations, psychosocial assessments, and medication management.
Delivers Culturally Responsive Care
Therapists develop individualized case formulations that reflect each client’s and family’s background, values, cultural needs, and life experiences. The clinical team uses short- and long-term psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy. Services also include anger management, bereavement counseling, and parenting groups, and medication management. Located about a 1-minute walk from Fulton St./Bond St. bus stop, the clinic offers weekday, after-school, Saturday and online appointments when appropriate, making care more accessible.
