About Tabula Rasa Retreat
Tabula Rasa Retreat has rapidly positioned itself as a premier European ibogaine clinic. Located in the Alentejan region of Portugal, its clientele is mainly from the United Kingdom, Northern Europe, UAE and the USA. All treatments undergo medical vetting and are medically monitored and supervised by ACLS trained medical staff.
While not a magic cure, Ibogaine can interrupt addictions and offer a pain-free withdrawal from opiates. To support ibogaine treatments, expect holistic therapies such as breathwork, bodywork, massage, meditation, kundalini yoga, reiki, gong baths, drumming circles, equine assisted therapy, personal training and nutrition advice. This is further supported by 1:1 counselling and group therapy by our in-house counsellors. In addition, online aftercare meetings are offered for life.
See for yourself below! The RehabPath team visited Tabula Rasa to learn more about how ibogaine is used for addiction treatment. Our specialty programmes include:

∙ Trauma and Addiction Focus- Nearly all our clients suffer from some degree of underlying trauma or PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Experience and evidence-based approaches have led us to understand the importance of addressing both these co-occurring disorders in parallel. Our team at Tabula Rasa Retreat are not only well versed in Ibogaine treatments and therapy, they are also well trained to be able to help you through these issues and processes.
∙ Personalised Family Programme- It has been well documented that addiction does not just affect the user, it is in fact a family dis-ease. Unique to our Ibogaine treatment centre, we invite clients’ families to stay in the local vicinity of Tabula Rasa Retreat, and we invite them in to help them understand addiction in more detail. By enhancing their understanding, they will be better equipped to support their loved ones when they return home.

“It’s been said that ibogaine is akin to receiving 10 years of psychotherapy in one night. It's particularly effective because you become your own psychotherapist. With the pre-therapies and after-therapies we do, our clients are much more receptive to receiving counseling, one-to-one therapies, and counseling in group.” - Álvaro de Ferranti, Founder
