About Priory The Elphis
The Elphis offers additional support and skill implementation for clients who have left a 28-day inpatient addiction treatment programme. Their mission is to help integrate the skills learned during inpatient treatment and provide the tools to help clients rejoin daily life. Supervised living and a supportive community give clients greater independence while still surrounding them in the care they need.
Holistic Care
The Elphis’ structured programme blends evidence-based therapies with relapse prevention and life skills training, helping patients put what they learned in inpatient care into practice. Relational therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), art therapy, drama therapy, equine therapy and yoga are all offered at The Elphis. Patients will also participate in group therapy sessions, which take place in a comfortable and encouraging environment. Here, patients can work together on common issues and/or co-occurring conditions like anger. Family counselling also plays a key role in recovery, which is why The Elphis provides family counselling sessions for all.
A Restorative Setting
The Elphis' serene setting, which includes cosy lounges, dining rooms, a games room, and landscaped gardens, contributes to The Elphis’ supportive atmosphere by encouraging interpersonal interaction and the sharing of experiences. Clients cook and eat together, clean, shop for meals, and become a tight-knit community, centred on recovery.
