About Perspectives Counseling Centers of Michigan - Troy
Perspectives Counseling Centers is a private outpatient mental health and addiction care network serving Michigan communities since 1985. The center works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families through counseling, psychiatry, psychological testing, group counseling, and therapy within the Optum Behavioral Care network. Its Troy office is located in Troy’s business district and serves people facing emotional, behavioral, family, relationship, trauma, autism-related, and addiction concerns.
Hours run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., giving people evening availability around school, work, and family routines.
Shape Progress Through Therapy
For those needing more specialized care, the Troy location brings together counselors, therapists, and psychiatrists with focused experience across age groups and concerns. Alongside therapy and psychiatry, services include consultations, psychological and intelligence assessment, multidisciplinary collaboration, parenting workshops, professional seminars, and anger management groups. When clinically appropriate, treatment may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Christian counseling, trauma and grief care, relationship-focused therapy, addiction counseling, and family counseling.
