Located in stunning Malibu, California, Malibu Beach Sober Living is a residential home that promotes and enforces a healthy, sober lifestyle for its residents. Malibu Beach offers multiple options and locations including treatment centers, outpatient, and sober living to provide a comprehensive support system. They combine the best elements of Western medicine and Eastern healing processes in order to form a holistic treatment model. This combination allows for optimal healing of the body, spirit, and mind. Tailor-made treatment plans are created for each client, and pre-existing medical conditions and overall health, mental health and emotional well-being, history of substance abuse, relationships with family, past traumatic events, and co-occurring disorders are all taken into consideration. Some of the treatment therapies offered include 1-on-1 and group psychotherapy, relational healing, neurofeedback, EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, 12-Step facilitation, somatic experiencing, and more.
Malibu Beach Sober Living has 3 sober living homes all in Malibu, each with luxury amenities. Their Broad Beach location has beachfront decks and spectacular views on all five levels, private and semi-private rooms, beach access, and an elevator. This location additionally has an on-site gym, a private pool and hot tub, and a pool table. Some of the experiential activities offered are music therapy, art classes, yoga, mediation, and more. Malibu Beach Sober Living’s family program includes family therapy based on the family systems therapy modality. Their family program can be attended by clients and their families for up to 6 months after the client’s discharge. Malibu Beach Sober Living also has a very strong alumni support program with bi-monthly alumni meetings, a yearly reunion with fun activities, 12-Step support, regular alumni coordinator contact, and a continuing care plan.
