About The Purple House Clinic
Mental Health Care
The Purple House Clinic is a collection of private clinics located in England and Scotland, operated and led by expert psychologists. They offer a variety of evaluation and counseling services for learning disabilities and ADHD in children, and adult mental health care. Each clinic has specific expertise in treating depression, anxiety, grief, and post traumatic stress (PTSD), ADHD, eating disorders, and more. Therapy involves evidence-based treatment modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT),family and couples counseling, and eye movement therapy (EMDR). Adolescent therapy typically incorporates artistic skills and art therapy, like drawing activities, games, and stories. Therapy takes place in an outpatient setting at 1 of the 4 clinics Purple House offers.
An Experienced Team
The clinics' teams are made up of psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, forensic psychologists, educational psychologists, and psychiatrists. Each clinician has undertaken extensive training and accepts both self-referrals and referrals from family members. Referrals from organizations (e.g. solicitors, insurers, schools, employers) are also accepted.
