About rTMS Centre
The rTMS Centre opened in 2015 after the NICE guidelines approved TMS as an effective treatment for clinical depression. TMS is a non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain that can relieve the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. TMS only treats the brain circuits involved in your condition, rather than flooding the brain with chemicals; and unlike medication, there are very few potential side effects. Before starting, clients will undergo a thorough psychiatric assessment that evaluates the individual's mental health history to determine if rTMS is the right treatment for the client. Clients will also get a chance to see rTMS in person and find out how it works before starting. After the initial consultation, the number of sessions prescribed usually averages 20-30 for severe depression.
The rTMS Centre has numerous positive reviews with Francesca stating - “Excellent! I would absolutely recommend the rTMS Centre in London, Mr Nima Amiri the Neuroscientist & Clinic Manager of the Centre and DR. Matta, supported me before, during and after the therapy, with great professionalism and dedication. TMS therapy is completely different from any other treatment and is surprisingly effective and scientifically proven. In 4 weeks I have achieved results that I never expected, and that will remain stable over time.”
