Learn 2 Live treats mental health conditions in teens ages 14-17 using supportive, customised care. They provide a 6-week inpatient programme to help children and their families heal from co-occurring disorders. Their newly remodeled center rests on 20 acres of idyllic countryside. Learn 2 Live uses individualized treatment to continually meet the needs of teens, with group, 1:1, and family therapy provided.
Learn 2 Live treats anxiety, depression, ongoing grief, suicidal ideation, trauma, and emerging personality disorders. Their expert treatment team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, family therapists, eating disorder therapists, dieticians, art and music therapists, sport coaches, educationalists, and youth coaches. Learn 2 Live assigns 2 coaches for each group of 6 or less teens.
Learn 2 Live provides weekly treatment updates to parents and provides family therapy to help families heal as a whole. Throughout their treatment, teens continuously learn tools for the future, communicating and regulating emotions.
Learn 2 Live uses an integrated blend of evidence-based therapies to help teens and their families heal long-term. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and medical care as needed. They also offer yoga and meditation, art and music therapy, fitness, adventure therapies, culinary arts, and on-site help with school.
