About Gladstones Clinic - Narles Farm
Gladstones Clinic Cotswolds is a reputable healthcare facility with experienced staff dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for addictions, eating disorders, and co-occurring mental health disorders. With a focus on holistic well-being, Gladstones is known for its commitment to delivering high-quality addiction services in a supportive and comfortable environment.
Their Narles Farm location provides personally tailored recovery plans and evidence-based treatment in a non 12-step environment. In addition to eating disorders, they also treat other impulse disorders such as gambling, video gaming, and sex and pornography addictions. Medically supervised detox is available for patients with a physical dependency on drugs or alcohol. Licensed medical professionals provide 24/7 monitoring and combine medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with emotional and therapeutic support to keep clients as safe and as comfortable as possible through the detox process.
Narles Farm has space for up to 12 clients at a time, each client with a private furnished bedroom and ensuite private bath. The converted farmhouse is located on spacious land, and accommodations are quiet and offer a private sanctuary conducive to healing. In addition to 1-on-1 therapy, clients will partake in group therapy sessions with a small, closeknit feel in an environment that allows for self-reflection and peer support. The private, peaceful, abstinence-based environment eliminates any distractions so patients are able to remain focused solely on their recovery. The program also incorporates the importance of nutrition, offering freshly cooked chef-prepared meals for clients to eat community style. Dietary accommodations are also available.
Clients can unwind and relax after a structured and therapeutic day in the relaxation area, a comfortable communal space with access to television, a DVD player, books, and board games. A spacious and well-kept outdoor patio area is also available for clients to relax, read, or get fresh air. Clients are encouraged to place focus on relaxation and self-care as part of their individualized treatment programme. Current and former clients have lifetime access to aftercare support and services where alumni come together regularly to offer motivation, support, and community through in person and virtual support groups.
