About Fresh Start Ministries of Central Florida
Fresh Start Ministries of Central Florida helps men recover from drug and alcohol addiction through a faith-based, residential program. Their goal is to give men a chance to heal while still working and supporting their families. The program treats substance use and other life-controlling problems in a safe, structured setting through a step-by-step recovery process.
The center uses Christian values, Bible study, and 12-Step classes to guide men through recovery. Counselors teach life skills like anger control, forgiveness, and better communication. Each man follows a treatment plan made just for him. Through prayer, support groups, and education, Fresh Start helps men grow stronger in mind, body, and spirit.
Men live in transitional housing with rules that support healthy habits. They work during the day and return by 6 p.m. for dinner, classes, and counseling. The program builds community by creating a family-like space where men support each other. Each phase teaches new tools for living sober, faithful, and productive lives.
